The link to download TeamViewer version 11 can often be hidden on TeamViewer's Site as they push towards newer versions.

For Windows:

Install as free version, with remote access (our license covers things from both ends)
Do not set up a teamviewer account

For MacOS:

Install as free version, with remote access (our license covers things from both ends)

MacOS requires an additional step to allow remote access:
Go to System Preferences, Security and Privacy, then the Accessibility option.
Check the box beside TeamViewer (or TeamViewer Desktop)
